My Review of the 30X Zoom Monocular:
1. Zoom Helps You Find Small Animals More Easily
First, this high-powered monocular not only enables you to virtually get close up to wildlife, but it features optical glass that brightens the picture. Therefore, it makes birds and animals easier to find and see.
2. Brighter Scope Pictures Enhance Details
Second, in addition to providing greater clarity, the brightness also helps to enhances the color of the image. In turn, this helps you distinguish small details.
3. The Eyeskey Monocular has Less Glare
Third, might I add that the optics are multi-coated, which reduces glare. You may not notice this unless you compare monoculars side-by-side, but it does add to the viewing quality.
4. Scope Offers Wide-Angle Views
Fourth, you get wide angle views. Hence, you can more easily follow fast moving objects, such as birds, animals and sports.
Although not a telescope, the extra magnification capability of this monocular makes it work better than other models when looking up at the sky.
I’m not suggesting that you replace your telescope with this mini scope, just saying. However, when used for birdwatching, watching sports, navigating terrain, etc, this high zoom scope has more power.
5. Versatile Viewing Abilities
Fifth, the 50mm lens works well in a variety of different environments.
In other words, you can use it on a bright sunny day or near sunrise or dusk.
However, this monocular zoom scope does not have night vision capabilities. For that, you want to go with a scope like the Solomark.
6. Monocular has Easy One-Hand Control
As you can see in the photo above, the zoom knob is conveniently located near the eyepiece. Therefore, you can easily reach it with your index finger.
If you want to control your scope with just one hand, the Eyeskey will let you do it. Not to mention, you can also control the focus knob with your index finger too.
Note: When focusing your monocular, first adjust the focus knob while in 10X zoom. When you magnify the image to a higher level, like 20X or 30X, you will need to re-adjust the focus.
7. Durable, Heavy-Duty Exterior Scope Casing
Like many well-made monoculars designed for the outdoors, this monocular has an anti-slip rubber exterior. You can easily hold on it even in the rain, plus it helps with “soft landings” if you happen to drop the device.
8. Get a Detachable Stabilizing Tripod
Finally, this high zoom monocular package includes an attachable tripod. If you want to use your scope hands-free, no problem! Plus, this accessory comes in really handy if you have kids who may not have steady hands.
Note: The higher the magnification, the more you will notice any shaking from an unsteady hand. This unit does not come with image stabilization. Therefore, when you magnify your scope over 10X, you may prefer to use the tripod when viewing.
